French Haiku Poems

This term, our Year 8 students have been mastering the art of Haiku poetry. Guided by their teachers, they have skilfully crafted Haikus in French, blending their linguistic abilities with creativity to encapsulate fleeting moments in just three lines.
Haiku, a traditional Japanese poetic form, follows a 5-7-5 syllable structure. Through this project, students explored various themes such as nature, sports, food, and emotions—all while enhancing their French vocabulary and grammar.
Well done, Year 8, for your creativity and outstanding use of French!
