GCSE results: exciting times ahead!

We are proud of what every single student achieves at Wilson's, but it was a particular pleasure this week to see so many Year 11 pupils and parents delighted by their GCSE outcomes. With 94% of grades 7-9 and 61% grade 9s, these are exceptional results for the year group, but they translate into life-transforming prospects for individual students.

 

As always on results days, we reflect on the personal development of students just as much as their academic achievements. This year’s Year 11 cohort have shown particular resilience and application, while maintaining a full commitment to developing their character, particularly via the school’s co-curricular programme. Whatever pathway they follow next, through A levels and beyond, we hope that all students will take a moment to reflect on how far they have travelled and what exciting times lie ahead!
