Wilson's School

Great British Economics Olympiad

In the school’s first year of entry, 23 Wilsonians have qualified for the second round of the Great British Economics Olympiad to be held between the 25th and 27th of February.

In the second round, students will be tested on their understanding of financial literacy, in an attempt to reach the national final which will be held on 21st of March.

Designed to challenge and inspire, the Great British Economics Olympiad is a unique opportunity for students to push themselves further and excel in the Economics field. Budding economists will develop critical problem-solving skills, learn to think more creatively and get a chance to test their knowledge in new, real-world situations. They could even find themselves representing the UK at the prestigious International Economics Olympiad to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan between the 20th and 29th of July.

We wish all participants the best possible luck in their attempts to reach the national final!
