We were thrilled to spot Nicolas, one of our most recent Old Wilsonians, singing with the National Youth Choir at one of this season's most acclaimed concerts at the BBC Proms. In a bravura performance, all orchestral players and singers played and sang Beethoven's masterpiece from memory. Nicolas is one of several of Mr Hann's pupils to have joined the National Youth Choir during the past few years.

Year 9 pupils enjoyed watching a part of this performance this week as part of their introduction to the Elizabethan programme.
