Chair of Wilson’s Law Society appointed King’s Counsel

We are delighted that His Majesty The King, on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, has announced the results of the 2025 King’s Counsel (KC) appointments. David Walsh (Old Wilsonian, 2002) of Essex Court Chambers was on the list to be appointed KC and will be officially sworn in at a ceremony before the Lord Chancellor at Westminster Hall on Monday 24th March 2025.
King's Counsel (KC) are senior barristers who have been recognised for excellence in advocacy. They are seen as leaders in their area of law, and take on more complex cases that require a higher level of legal expertise.
David is Chair of our Wilson’s Law Society and presented the prizes at this year's Prize Giving ceremony at the start of January.
We offer David our warm congratulations.
