University Preparation Programme - Medicine

Nearly 40 prospective medics in Year 12 enjoyed a week of activities at the end of last term as part of our University Preparation Programme coordinated by Dr Hubbard.

This included a day trip to the Hunterian Museum and a fascinating walking tour of London with a retired doctor who had spent the last part of his career working for Public Health England (now the UK Health Security Agency).

During the rest of the week, debates, presentations and reflections on the real-life professional roles of doctors and dentists enabled students to prepare fully for the university admissions process this term.
