Year 7 National Careers Challenge comes to Wilson's

Year 7 National Careers Challenge

Just before half term, the Inspirational Learning Group delivered the Year 7 National Careers Challenge. The task set to the pupils was to design a new sustainable city. Some of the tasks required were to decide which geographical location would best support their vision of sustainability, taking into account the natural resources in the area and which sustainable industry would be best suited to be the industrial pole.

The pupils developed their team working and presentation skills, and the Inspirational Learning Group believed that the students focus on the tasks, their enthusiasm and the depth and originality of ideas and solutions to developing a sustainable city were second to none.

The winners were Harjit, Tommy, Ranvir, Max, Leo and Nathan from 7S - our congratulations to them!
